She holds an associate's degree in esthetics, cosmetology, and micropigmentation and received her training in Mexico City. Yamel is a certified cosmetologist by SEP and a paramedical aesthetician certified by the Institute of Cosmetology, Esthetics & Massage in Houston, TX.

Before establishing her current practice, Yamel successfully owned and managed a thriving skincare salon, where she collaborated closely with renowned dermatologists and plastic surgeons. She had the privilege of working alongside a team of dermatologists under the leadership of Dr. Bertha Echaniz Terán.
